My Bored Poem

The purpose.

To show how I can shape my text for an audience.
In this poem I have tried to slow the pace of my writing by carefully selecting line brakes and choosing words and images that show how bored I was.

Just A Boring Poem:

UHHHHHHHHHHHHH  

UHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

UHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Sitting on the warm chair

Are we there yet!

Harry we just set off

I'm Boredddd

Just play on your tablet

Its out of charge

Then watch a movie!

But the volume on it pierces my ears

Then just wait

I stare at the surroundings

I see one cow

With brown spots

Staring at me

In a disturbing manner

Are we there yet

No!!!!!

My brothers armpits STINK!

Did he have to play rugby before we left!

UHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRGGGGG

Mum I have got a headache

Just drink some water

I need a wee

Fine we will pull over

I then made the mistake of peeing on an electric fence

OWWWW

Back to the car Harry

MUUUUUM

I'M BORED!!!!

Here are a couple of photos from camp involving me.

My Favourite Swimming Place

The Horseshoe

Sparkling water beckons me.Hot rocks burn my feet.Preparing to run...SPLASH!!! I swim against the current to get to the other side,so tiring... I made it!!! As I glance over the oasis like scenery,I see people jumping of the three meter diving board like cliff, landing with a huge explosion of vapour.I glance more to the left I was stunned by the natural lazy river,I have my body board and I say come on Liam lets do it we swim to the back of it on our body board the water is so clean but then we have to climb over the squishy muddy bank,after we made it over we washed our feet off at the start.3,2,1 START the race was on only letting the current and steering propel us is was a huge competition it was so close and then GRIIIINNNDDD I hit a rock bank and I thought it was all other until Liam and Charlot slowed down until they came to a halt THEY HAD HIT THE BANK TOO YES!!! The race is mine I thought as I pushed off the bank but suddenly just by the finish WHOOSH Liam speeds past me,”No he found a strong part of the current”,it was over he won.

As we put the body boards back I couldn't help but notice the teenagers jumping of a cliff into a water hole “we have to do that next” Liam said “yep” I replied.As we made it their we had to use a rope and a few foot holes to climb up their,”Liam you can go first” I said cowardly,he said bravely “yep”,then he sprinted and jumped.I gulped prepared myself and then halfway through running I stopped fretully and exclaimed “I will do it this time’ I didn't in fact it took me 5 practices before I did the real thing,anyway when I did I felt a rush of adrenaline as I jumped I was only falling for about 2 seconds but it felt like 2 minutes,”I'm ALIVE” I survived the fall.

As the sun began to set we began to pack up and leave.As we were walking I exclaimed:

“Best swimming hole ever!”
